performance “in the round” with and a visit to the Chocolate Museum. The students were fantastic
a moving stage. They were also throughout and thank you to Miss Cruikshanks, Mr Merrison and

Great Gatsby adapted for the
stage at the Sheffield Drama On Saturday 6th December a
Studio performed by members small group of our talented
of the Sheffield University musicians went to perform at the
Drama Group. Both were hugely Bradway School Christmas Fair -
enjoyable and worthwhile. they were superb and did an
excellent job of entertaining the
crowds.

Othello trip On Wednesday the 5th of
November, a group of Y13s
abandoned the glittering delights
of bonfire night to watch one of
Shakespeare’s most explosive
plays. At the new CAST arts
venue in Doncaster they watched
a fast paced modern adaptation
of Othello, updated so that the
action moved from Venice and
Cyprus to the Cypress Pub on a
West Yorkshire estate. Despite
an extremely modern setting and
dress, the script was performed
in the original Jacobean
language but with a distinct
Yorkshire accent. This was a
taut, violent and darkly humorous
roller coaster ride of emotions.
